Payments in your projects
Sell purchases and subscriptions in your Apps and Web Apps with Stripe, Flutterwave or Paystack.
Appfully takes payments through hosted payment links. The provider runs the checkout (cards, bank transfer, USSD or mobile money, depending on the provider and country) and pays out to your bank. Your project only opens the link, so no card details or keys are ever in your code.
Pick a provider
| Provider | Pays out in | Sign up |
|---|---|---|
| Flutterwave | Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and across Africa | app.flutterwave.com/register |
| Paystack | Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Côte d'Ivoire | dashboard.paystack.com |
| Stripe | The US, UK, Europe and 40+ other countries | dashboard.stripe.com/register |
All three are free to join and charge a fee per successful payment.
Set it up
- Create your account with the provider that pays out where you are.
- Create a payment link for each product or plan: Payment Links in Flutterwave and Stripe, Payment Pages in Paystack. Use a recurring price for subscriptions.
- In your project, open + → Plugins and switch on Payments.
- Ask for it in the chat with your links, for example: "Add a Pro plan for ₦5,000 a month using https://flutterwave.com/pay/…".
Appfully adds the pricing screen and wires each buy or subscribe button to the right link. If you turn the plugin on before you have links, it uses a placeholder and tells you which ones to replace.
Test first
Each provider has a test mode. Make a link in test mode, pay with the provider's test card, then switch to live links when you're ready.
Good to know
- Payment links work in Apps and Web Apps, in the preview, in exports and when published.
- Unlocking features after a payment (for example, checking that someone is subscribed) needs a backend, which Appfully doesn't add yet. Payment links suit purchases, donations, bookings and subscriptions managed in the provider's dashboard.
Not the same as Share & Earn
Share & Earn gives you Appfully credits for inviting friends. It isn't a way to charge your own users.
