Docs / Publishing & export

Exporting your code

Download a ready-to-run project or push it to GitHub.

Open Export in the workspace (signed-in accounts only).

Download .zip

You get a complete project, not just one file.

Apps (Expo):

npm install
npx expo start

Scan the QR code with Expo Go (Android) or the Camera app (iOS), or press w to open it on the web.

Web Apps (Vite + React + Tailwind):

npm install
npm run dev

Then open http://localhost:5173. Build for production with npm run build.

Push to GitHub

  1. Connect GitHub once, from the Export dialog or Settings → Connections.
  2. Choose a repository name and whether it's private.
  3. Press Push to GitHub.

Pushing again to the same repository adds a new commit with the latest code, which is a good way to keep a version history.

Prerequisites for running locally

Node.js 20 or newer. For Apps, the Expo Go app on your phone.
