Fable and premium models

Fable uses credits

Claude Fable 5.1 is Anthropic's most capable model and the most expensive to run. Each Fable generation uses 10 credits on a Pro or Max plan.

• Without a plan, Fable (like every model) shows a lock; choosing it opens the plan window.
• On a paid plan with fewer than 10 credits, you'll be asked to top up or pick another model.
• A failed or busy Fable request is never charged.

Other premium models

All premium models work the same way: a plan unlocks them and each generation uses its listed credits. Pick the cheaper ones (Sonnet, GPT-6.1 Sol, Gemini 4 Argon) for everyday changes and save Fable or GPT-6 Astra for the hardest parts of a build.

Occasionally a provider has an outage or a model is temporarily unavailable on Appfully. You'll see a message, nothing is charged, and you can pick another model.
